We are seeking a talented, hands-on Front-End Web Developer who is passionate about building beautiful websites, while delivering high-quality user experiences for our customers and internal users. You will implement and maintain customer and internal, front-end web & responsive email projects that support our marketing initiatives. You should be comfortable with creating and implementing modern, responsive, optimized and SEO friendly visual designs. You should be able to hit the ground running, be self-motivated and deliver business value in an environment that fosters creativity and imagination.

Responsibilities

  • Works on client and internal websites, microsites, landing pages, responsive emails and related projects as needed with an eye for design along with practical web development abilities.
  • Collaborates with development staff, creative, account, copywriting, senior management, external vendors and other project stakeholders for requirements gathering.
  • Participates in the design process and brainstorming to help the design team implement new development techniques and technologies into designs.
  • Coordinates assigned tasks and responsibilities, hitting all deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality web development.
  • Estimates hours for incoming projects and helps to develop scopes of work for proposals.
  • Participates in client meetings, presentations, training document preparation and Content Management System (CMS) training sessions with clients.
  • Learns and develops new skills to help keep company on the cutting edge.

Skills

  • Proficient understanding of semantic markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of pre-built responsive grid frameworks such as Bootstrap for rapid development, also the ability to build websites 100% from scratch.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Sketch, basic image editing and slicing abilities.
  • Expertise in UI/UX best practices.
  • Attention to detail, ability to create pixel perfect websites to the designer’s specifications.
  • Experience building websites in Content Management Systems like DotNetNuke, Drupal and WordPress and training clients on how to use them.
  • Experience using version control such as Git and Subversion.
  • Experience creating responsive websites and emails that work well on all browsers and devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill technical details down to something easily digestible for people in different roles.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in information technology, computer science or a related field) along with a minimum three years of professional web development experience.

Description

The Account Manager is responsible for facilitating professional client interactions and strategic consulting. This position maintains ultimate responsibility for all client project communications, whether directly involved or via a team of account managers. The Account Manager is a consultative and performance oriented professional with considerable experience in the provision of incredible marketing strategies and campaigns for client companies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day management of all client account interactions as well as optimization of all client campaigns.
  • Fosters meaningful communication between Minds On and its clients. Crafts client strategies; communicates said strategies and provides updates to these strategies as needs dictate.
  • Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts. Manage ongoing correspondence and ensure a positive relationship with assigned accounts.
  • Serves as internal resource for account managers and other creative team members when concerns or obstacles arise with respect to execution on client marketing campaigns.
  • Develops Client Overviews and Project Overviews to accurately capture project specifications. Effectively communicates these specifications to design team for execution.
  • Initiates and facilitates meetings, brainstorms and teamwork among internal resources to ensure project delivery. Holds regular account management team meetings to gather progress reports on all client projects/campaigns.
  • Works with the Resource Manager to manage and oversee projects and associated tasks throughout each engagement/project period. Provides insight and opinion when additional staff members are recruited to fulfill position vacancies and staffing needs within Minds On.
  • Builds internal agency orientation file on each client. Responsible for integrating clients through proper orientation. Will engage in project intake activities and planning (internally and with third party vendors).
  • Schedules all meetings, develops agendas, and debriefs afterward with the client and internal team. Maintains filing system on client within Minds On. Manage projects using defined project management tools and communication vehicles.
  • As projects progress, this position will monitor scope creep and secure necessary approval from the client and any internal entities before proceeding.
  • Influences and negotiates with clients regarding recommendations made by team members at the firm on project related matters. Navigates and addresses any concerns or disputes from the client or internal team.
  • Manages project scope, ensuring that project components outlined in the proposal are met with quality and integrity.
  • Keeps abreast of client needs to suggest and recommend new projects. Develops project proposals for clients to address new opportunities.
  • Addresses out-of-scope pricing changes with client, gaining approval before moving projects forward. Keeps client abreast of any events that may impact project timeline or cost. Conversely, responsible for apprising the agency on any events at the client which may be relevant.
  • Proactively communicates necessary client financial changes and/or impacts to management and financial team. Possess ultimate responsibility for executing client campaigns within agreed upon budgets.
  • Keeps informed of client's industry/segment so as to make applicable and impactful recommendations and suggestions regarding marketing strategy.
  • Upon completion of projects, manage the closing process including managing the review (internal) process. Measures client satisfaction and assists internal units with billing/invoicing for services rendered and products delivered.
  • Represents firm at relevant industry, networking and company functions.

Quality Measurements

The Account Manager will be measured on the following quality assurance outcomes:

  • Ensures project delivery is in line with Client Overview and Project Overview at each step of the process.
  • Responsible for internal routing of projects to gather and integrate appropriate feedback and into each project.
  • Oversees quality assurance through all aspects of each project. Is responsible for final project quality before project is released to client or to production.
  • Responsible for gaining client signoff and approval before moving project to next stage of development.
  • Responsible for oversight of client budgets and ensuring that projects are in line with budget expectations and agency profitability expectations.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field) from a four-year college or university is a minimum qualification along with 5 years previous business development, marketing, account management or consulting experience required.
  • Required: Previous experience in a marketing or interactive agency with proven experience managing multiple client accounts is required. Past experience and exposure with managing a team of account managers and/or a creative services staff.
  • Exceptionally strong presentation and communication skills are critical. Demonstrated ability to communicate with business and department leaders in a variety of industries.
  • Possession of excellent writing and communication skills is essential. The position requires a highly motivated and organized individual that is willing to diversify and multi-task. Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work on a variety of projects independently or within a team structure. Follow-through and responsiveness is also critically important.
  • Essential to possess a passion and desire to continuously improve work style and productivity. Demonstrated leadership, organization and planning skills.
  • Solid computer skills in PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, word processing, spreadsheet management, e-mail and project management software. Some cursory layout experience is also a plus.
  • Strong B2B and B2C marketing, web and technology background a plus.
