New Business Development Responsibilities

  • Have a proven track record of selling digital and traditional marketing services in an agency to leading B2B technology and manufacturing companies throughout Ohio, Chicago, and the Mid-West.
  • Effective prospecting of potential clients through various lead sources (cold calling, social media, email, mailings, etc.).
  • Responsibilities will include coordinating recruitment for open positions as well as targeted pipeline positions.
  • Build and nurture a strong pipeline of talent.
  • Coordinate internal resources for the preparation and delivery of new business presentations and materials.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of client needs and requirements in order to develop and prepare for client proposals and presentations.
  • Create and deliver compelling, customized sales proposals that address the core business issues and opportunities faced by the prospect.
  • Target clients that will be foundation accounts ($120K+ annually).
  • Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events, and outbound marketing.

Business Development Planning

  • Attend technology and manufacturing industry functions, such as events and conferences to generate leads. Some travel will be required.
  • Present to and consult with senior management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Utilize phone, email and social media tools like LinkedIn and Twitter to connect with new marketing executives daily.

Management and Research

  • Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
  • Work with Finance and Admin to ensure that prerequisites (like pre-qualification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
  • Understand the company’s goal and purpose and work to enhance the company's culture and performance.

Education

Business Development Specialist requires a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of sales or marketing experience. An MBA is beneficial, but not required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Design thoughtful, research-based and data-driven solutions for web, print and video. Projects include but are not limited to: Websites, user interfaces (UI), print advertisements, branding, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, catalogs, HTML emails, infographics, trade show displays, animated web ads and more
  • Comfortably present project details and concepts through written, verbal and visual presentation
  • Work with and manage communication with key stakeholders including product owners, business teams, and outside partners/contractors
  • Proven ability to keep up with creative and B2B trends and apply new principles into design solutions
  • Lead brainstorm sessions and drive consensus across divisions
  • Design within set brand standards for a portfolio of clients across multiple industries
  • Manage project details and ensure the quality of each and every project

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of agency experience in graphic design, web or UI/UX
  • Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience (preferably in art, graphic design, web design or a related field)
  • Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision and other design tools
  • Comfort in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience working across teams to synthesize feedback and input
  • Experience presenting to and advising executive management

We are seeking a design intern to join the Minds On team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for for assisting the design team with creative aspects of web design for a variety of our clients.

This position requires proven creative ability as well as the ability to take direction well and help brainstorm new project with the design team. The Design Intern must have a good sense of style, aesthetic and creativity together with an understanding of project objectives that can be unified to translate into meaningful visual communication. Candidates should be self-driven and motivated, but also be able take direction and work collaboratively.

  • Several years of education in design/visual communications or a related field of study.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
